2009 Statistics
We are really pleased to share our 2009 stats for treatment outcomes at Western Counselling. They are split into primary and secondary care and we have included our Medicated Withdrawals too. As you will see they demonstrate the effectiveness of the programme, however we will now be striving to demonstrate outcomes at 6 and 12months:
- Primary Care - Completed 65%
- Secondary Care - Completed 64%
- Medicated Withdrawal - Opiate 81%
- Alc/Benzo - 92%
North Somerset CSDAT Accreditation Scheme
Western Counselling is delighted to announce it is the first service to be accredited by North Somerset CSDAT Accreditation Scheme. This is an external audit of the treatment process and in conjunction with the CQC inspection ensures treatment is delivered effectively and equitably by appropriately trained and supervised professionals in a safe and therapeutic environment.
Student Work Placesments Now Finished
The three Canadian interns working with the service since early September have now finished their placement and are returning to complete their studies at the University of Lethbridge. We all wish them much success with their careers and thank them for their enthusiasm, motivation and commitment to their work in the past 3 months. We look forward to receiving applications from other students from the university for Autumn 2010.
