Student Work Placements
Three Canadian students from University of Lethbridge, Alberta are currently working as Placements with Western Counselling. This is the second year we have undertaken this training and have found the experience to be positive and educational for all so look forward to continuing the relationship with the University in 2010.
Make A Difference Project
Secondary care clients are currently working with Make A Difference Project in Weston super Mare, undertaking voluntary work in the community which has a direct impact on the population.
This includes some painting and decorating for community projects, gardening and clearing debris, cooking for those in need of a meal, also shopping for the elderly and disabled. As more projects are identified we look forward to extending this relationship and expanding the opportunities available.
